This morning, I passed a City of Keene van that said "Animal Control" on the left side.
Naturally, I wondered what the animal-based emergency was.
Then I observed that the back of the same van said "Traffic Light Repair."
Is it just me, or do those seem like they'd require very different skills? And equipment, for that matter.

HAHAHA - I've often wondered about that van, too.
Awesome. Yankee ingenuity at its best.
Perhaps several agencies share the same truck - different people, same equipment. Or perhaps there are a lot of animal-related traffic-light outages.
Anonymous-
That was my first thought, too. But what equipment (with the possible exception of "a ladder") would be common to those two endeavors?
They both need a truck?
A closer inspection is necessary to see if the vehicle carries two sets of tools. This raises the question - what if a traffic-light repair person has animal allergies that get set off because the tools are kept in the same truck as stray animals?
