FaMe with a capital M, part 2

The other famous person I've seen in the last 24 hours was Michelle Obama. That story is much shorter, as it was entirely expected.
We found out earlier this week that she was expected on-campus for a rally today.
She was, in fact, on campus for that rally.
I went, too.
She was great, as usual. She didn't say much that any good Michelle Obama devotee hasn't heard before, but if you ever get a chance to hear her speak, take it. Even if you hate her husband, even if you're uninterested in politics, she's just fun to watch.
Not too much of interest to report beyond that. She was on time: In my experience, that is very unusual for political speakers. So on time I had to abandon my lunch and my work to go running outside.
But that's it. Campus safety reports we had about 2,700 people present. Not bad for midday, midweek.

So, they've come back to NH for those 4 electoral votes that are swinging in the winds, eh? The Granite State is getting even more attention than usual this election.

Yup. Word is, one or both adult Palins may also be making a stop here soon.

Sometimes it is no fun living in a solid blue state. Nobody visits. They just call and email for money - to spend in swing states.

So, if you run into Sarah, I hope you're in your car.

There's an adult Palin? Is that the boy zooming around on his snow ATV or the girl, playing "work" in her grown-up suit, super-serious glasses and ruby red slippers?
Or is it the one expecting a kiddo?

p.s. tell cousin mouse to never ever let out a squeak of a complaint about blue-state living. He should try knockin on some Fairfax Republican doors.

Along, I feel your pain. I grew up in NH when it was "rock ribbed Republican" and was knocking on doors for Eugene McCarthy.

Still hard to believe it is now a swing or even blue state.
