Here are my requirements:
- It must be happy/fun (I don't need good movies that are not happy/fun. I have a queue full of those. That is why I am asking for help);
- It must pass the Bechdel test (for our purposes, the movie needs to contain at least two female characters, with names, who talk to each other, about something other than a man*);
- It must be available on Netflix streaming.
These are not my requirements for all movies ever, they are my requirements for me right now when I am sick and very cranky about it. In the comments, I'll try to list some movies that meet this set of requirements (including helpful ones from the Facebook post), but you have to do the same, OK? Please don't let me think there just aren't any movies that meet these requirements.
*Men are not limited to romantic interests. They can include but are not limited to male nemeses, children, parents, bosses, royalty, etc.

I just watched Dr. T and the Women (don't ask why), which definitely would NOT be an appropriate movie to recommend ... I'll keep searching.
Good movies I have watched today that do not meet one or more requirements:
-Sliding Doors
-Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
-Monkey Business
Good movies I have watched in the past that either meet all the requirements or meet all but the Netflix requirement:
-D.E.B.S.
-Chalk
Movies suggested by Facebook friends that seem to meet the requirements:
-Morning Glory
-Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
(I'll update this comment as I think of more movies.)
I am now watching Been Rich All My Life, unrecommended by anyone, and it is fantastic. I recommend it, completely.
"Tiny Furniture" was less happy/fun than I was looking for, but is also AWESOME, and very funny, and meets all other requirements.
TV shows:
-Better Off Ted
-Greek
-Arrested Development
Also JUST AMAZING: Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement.
Great suggestion from a friend: Citizen Ruth.
Genny- Just finally read the description of DTATW. Why do you not recommend it? Just bad? Not happy/fun?
The ENTIRE movie is about women wanting men/obsessing about men/talking about men.
Plus, it's just a bad movie ... which I had seen when it first came out, but hadn't in years, and I had to watch it again to see if it was as bad as I remembered. It was.
PS: Glad you liked Sliding Doors. LOVED that movie, but thought it wouldn't fit into the criteria so I didn't recommend.
